The Food Pantry will be open April 17 from 2-5.
As the pastor of Northeast Baptist, I see it as a place to connect and plug in.
This is a Bible believing and teaching congregation. It is my intention to help individuals connect with God through the teaching of His Word. After all, it is His Word, so, it is my conviction to share it with a passion. I want those who hear me teach and preach to be able to get a mental picture of what the Word says and be able to experience it in such a way that they connect with the One who can make a difference in their lives.
Northeast is a place to connect with others. The church family is made up of individuals who have been made perfect only through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Knowing that we aren’t perfect. We recognize that we are sinners who have been forgiven and saved by the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Because of where we have been and our new positions in Christ, we love more.
Northeast is a place to plug in and serve. As a congregation, we worship; go on mission trips; and participate in ministry, evangelism, and fellowship together. If you are looking for a place to use your gifts and talents, then we invite you to join us.
Thanks and God bless,
Pastor Mike Martin
Worship Pastor Dwain Mitchel
For years as a worship leader, it has been my desire to offer people who came to church, a music program that was polished and well designed. It has always been important for me to offer God my best and that has not changed. God always deserves our best effort. To flow in the Spirit is never an excuse to not practice or to be ill prepared. The thinking that has changed is the fact that we can have the most thought out programs, the most rehearsed delivery, the best concentration of talent and God not show up. Life is “too hard”, hell is “too hot” and eternity is “too long” just to “play church”. “All is vain unless the Spirit of Holy One comes down” as the old hymn states. The Word of God states it this way, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit”, says the Lord (Zech. 4:6).
Today, my desire is to have a quality music program and at the same time, the freedom to allow people to come into the presence of Jehovah. We need to have a meeting with God himself.
If you need healing, He’s Jehovah Rapha, your healer If you need provision, He’s Jehovah Jireh, your provider If you need victory, He’s Jehovah Nissi, your victory If you need peace, He’s Jehovah Shalom, the God of all peace If you need a guidance, He’s Jehovah Rophi, your Shepherd If you need righteousness, He’s Jehovah Tsidkenu, your righteousness
Whatever you need today or in the future, he has already made provision for that need in Himself.
My prayer is that the worshipers who come to Northeast will encounter Him and by that encounter, will be changed forever.
